Class Description:

Welcome to Miss German’s class!  In second grade, we build on the Language and Math foundations started in Kindergarten and First grade.  In Language, we continue to master Phonics special sounds (which helps in reading) and work on sentence structure, capitalization, and punctuation.  In Math, we start memorizing multiplication and division facts and work on carrying and borrowing.  In History, we present our first oral reports.  A highlight for many students is learning cursive the second half of the year!
